Vertical Gardens: Research in Mexico

Research in Mexico In 2013, Ignacio Solano and the team of Paisajismo Urbano travelled to Mexico to carry out a research project including two different natural ecosystems in the same country, in order to study the adaptation of species between both biotopes.

Mexico is one of the countries with more biodiversity in the world and this is due to its privileged geographical position, the variety of climates and the complex topography; contributing to a great variety of environmental conditions to create different ecosystems, producing as a result a big amalgam of opposed endemic species in the same country.

Due to all these reasons, when in 2013 we studied the research we were going to undertake, we chose Mexico, knowing that its biodiversity will be huge. Moreover, we are connected to this country by a close relationship for more than 20 years, and it was about time to bow down its nature again.
